Casa Sandra Boutique Hotel

The beach was one of the best stretches we’ve come across, with soft sand, calm turquoise water, and that quiet Holbox feeling that makes you lose track of the day. We also had an excellent dinner at the restaurant, a real highlight. The property has its own soul, from the art on the walls to the slow pace, and the raccoons wandering around add some wild charm. Ser Casasandra wrapped up our Yucatán trip on a high note. We had a few hiccups, but the team handled them with warmth and care and really wanted to make things right. We’ll be back.

The food was phenomenal, and we loved the artistic boutique feel of this quaint, well-kept hotel. We visited in early November, and the staff were very accommodating. It’s quiet and a little off the beaten path, with the beach right across the sandy road, plenty of loungers, staff, and a beach restaurant. The walk into town wasn’t bad, with lots to see and do. We want to come back!

Ser Casandra made celebrating my 35th Birthday with 15 guests an incredible experience. Everyone in the group said it was the best vacation they’d had with a group that size. The team guided me through everything, from booking my suite to arranging excursions, private dinners, and even the floral choices. They were patient with my guests who weren’t staying at the hotel, and flexible when our excursion times changed. On my first day, I broke a nail, and Lea and her front desk team quickly found a local nail tech who could see me. Their care really stood out. The evening turndown was lovely too, with letters and poems waiting in my room each night. Unforgettable. I’m a huge foodie with a wide-ranging palate, and the food and beverage options were plentiful and delicious. For a small island, Ser Casandra brought international flair to its food while keeping it connected to the region and culture. I can’t wait to return to Isla Holbox and make more memories with Ser Casandra. Thank you for everything, Ser Casandra Team.

The peaceful feeling at Casasandra was surreal. I usually sleep badly, especially when traveling, but I felt at home and woke up refreshed. I even managed to relax and nap by the pool, at the beach club, or in the hammock on our balcony. Our beautiful villa had snacks, drinks, water, organic toiletries including bee honey shampoo, body wash and conditioner, plus robes, caftans, and incense. The service, food, and yoga classes were all wonderful, and the location was perfect. Yosniel, Daria, Omar, Gerardo, and the waiters at the main restaurant were always smiling and glad to help. They made us feel appreciated throughout. We also saw several guests checking in or out who had stayed before and seemed joyful. You can feel the owner’s attention to detail everywhere. This felt like a real home away from home, and my husband, daughter, and I are already looking forward to our next escape to Casasandra. We feel so lucky to have stayed there.
