The staff really made this place stand out. Everyone was friendly and did their best to help, which is why I’d call it the best hotel in town. It’s a small hotel in an old house, with most of the original architecture kept alongside modern services and furniture. There’s also a newer section. The rooms are comfortable, and for the price the facilities and service are very good. There’s no built-in heating or air conditioning. The area stays cold much of the year, with temperatures around 2 to 23 Celsius (35 to 75 °F), so you may need heat; they can provide a small heater if you ask. Hot water in the shower lasts about 10 minutes, then you have to wait a little before it comes back.

The beds were comfortable and it’s a lovely place to stay. Most things seemed fine, but I found beard hairs on the floor by the sink when I arrived. That left me wondering how thoroughly the room had been cleaned.

The rooms were clean, and the location felt safe. It’s close to the main city plaza, and there’s a great restaurant.
