The room felt a little cramped, with the twin beds taking up nearly all the space, but it was still a very nice place. The shower had good pressure and temperature, and the showerhead was nice. There’s limited secure parking, though the location is central. The main square is three blocks away, a 24-hour convenience store is on the corner, and traffic around town wasn’t a burden. We stayed before hiking La Melinche in the morning, and the front desk was staffed around the clock so we could get the car out before sunrise.

A small hotel with a nice, friendly feel. The staff are helpful and keen to lend a hand. There’s a pleasant garden with a couple of swings for the kids, and the location is excellent.

Huamantla is a quiet town, and I really liked this place, especially its swing and huge tree.

The staff were lovely, and it’s a sweet little place for a low-budget night’s rest. There’s a coffee pot in the lobby for early risers, before the town wakes up. The location is great, with limited off-street parking. There’s no view, and the rooms are very small and smell musty. The bathroom drains need covers because the air fills with a human waste smell. There aren’t many outlets, so you have to choose between using the lamp and plugging in your device. There was also construction outside the window.
