It’s a nice place to unwind, and prices can be affordable depending on the season. Downtown Huasca is just a 5-minute walk away. One drawback is that they don’t provide towels or toilet paper, and the TVs don’t work. If you need help after closing, or early in the day, it can be hard to find someone, even when you call.

The cabin was lovely, and the woman who rented it to us gave excellent service. I definitely recommend it.

The young woman who helped us was kind and attentive, and the owner did refund our money. Still, when the owner saw us, she didn’t even have the courtesy to face us and explain what had happened. I booked the large cabin for 10 people on October 30th for the night of December 24th and paid the required deposit. On November 9th, they told me people who booked later through Booking.com had been given the same date because they’d “forgotten” to mark it reserved in the app. They offered extra rooms to make up for it. I accepted and went to see them, but they weren’t as pictured. The cabins are right by the road with no privacy, the fireplace in the photo is in a shared patio rather than inside, and the rooms are very cold. If you’re booking, I’d use Booking.com instead of going directly through them, since they seem to rely on the app.
