Beachfront Hotel La Palapa - Adults Only

The rooms were clean and comfortable, and the staff were kind and helpful. The sea view is breathtaking, and stepping out of the room feels like landing in paradise. Don’t miss the sunset from the balcony or hotel bar 🌅. We had a wonderful time and will definitely come back.

It’s right on the beach, with plenty of room to relax. The rooms aren’t especially modern, but everything worked and was clean. Breakfast was nice and had lots of options. The hotel is beside the main square, so restaurants and other conveniences are just around the corner.

The location is great, with everything easy to reach on foot, and the included breakfast was excellent. We had a spacious room with good air conditioning and a nice balcony, which we enjoyed during a rainstorm. The shower was fine, although sometimes the hot water seemed to run out quickly, and the bathroom had a funky smell. One evening we came back to find a cockroach on our belongings, which we didn’t enjoy. The beach at the hotel is very small, so we spent our days using day passes at other hotels with proper beaches. It worked well for a first visit to Holbox, but next time I’d probably stay elsewhere.

A hammock on the balcony was one of our favorite parts, and the room itself was beautiful. Housekeeping was thorough each day. The beach lounge area never felt crowded, probably because there aren’t many rooms. We were also glad to have a water bottle refill station. The location was ideal, just a one-minute walk to downtown. Breakfast was decent and everyone on staff gave great service. Special shoutout to the man who was always raking and cleaning the lovely grounds. We loved our stay and wouldn’t want to stay anywhere else.
