The room and bathroom were a decent size, the shower was good, and the toiletries were quality. They'd even arranged the towels in a fancy way on arrival. The bed was comfortable and there was storage, though no fridge. The pool and loungers were nice. Breakfast was simple with enough variety for a short stay, but limiting if you're an egg-free vegetarian. You can refill cold water at reception. It's on a busy street with cafes and restaurants, with the port at one end and the beach at the other.

Breakfast was superb, and the coffee shop right next door was a nice convenience. For late-night snacks, we often went to the nearby market. The beach and places to eat dinner were within walking distance, so it was easy to enjoy our stay. Our room had thoughtful details and comfortably fit our family of three. The Estrella had a loft for our teenage son and a downstairs area for us. With all the trees and plants, the natural decor made the hotel feel peaceful, like a tucked-away little paradise.

The pool was a good size for cooling off, and the hotel was spotless and well cared for. Natural wood and stone gave it a cozy tropical feel. Its central location made it easy to get to the beach, ferry, and other amenities. A few room details could be better: the main door had a glass panel with only light curtains, so we used a towel for more coverage. The toilet area had a thin wooden stick door that didn't offer much privacy, and the large window had no blinds. Light sleepers will want an eye mask unless they get up early. There was hand soap but no shower gel, and breakfast wasn't anything special. We enjoyed our stay and would recommend it for a stylish, central place. A few small changes would improve it.

We enjoyed our stay, though I could only give it 3.5 stars. The location is excellent, right in the heart of town, a short walk from the ferry, near the square, shops, cafes, restaurants, and beach. The wood and stone design is beautiful, and the hotel was clean and well maintained, with a decent mid-sized pool. The receptionist with the cap was super friendly and helpful. The woman at reception, though, didn't have a customer service attitude. We had no hot water, and the WiFi didn't reach our room. It sometimes worked in one spot outside. The room's big window had no blinds, so light sleepers need an eye shade or will wake at sunrise. For Yucatan, it felt very overpriced, though I understand demand and supply on Holbox make these rates possible.
