The hostel is kept really clean and has a pleasant shared kitchen and common area, plus a very basic breakfast. But it’s minimal: just a corridor with eight rooms, most without windows. The showers and toilets are by the entrance, so people outside can see you walking over to them. I’d be more forgiving if it cost less. There are better places nearby for the same price or cheaper.

The kitchen is clean, well organized, and has everything you need, with tea and coffee available all day. People leave food behind, and the fridge is neatly arranged with names on the bags. There are cozy spots to hang out, including hammock chairs out front, the kitchen, and a more intimate area at the back. It feels smaller than big hostels, and people sometimes sing along to the music from different countries or laugh together. It’s quiet, safe, and really well located for North beach or going out at night. My private room was very clean, with good ventilation, a window, a comfy bed, a colorful cover, and soft sheets. The hostel is so quiet at night that I slept really well. The showers and bathroom smelled nice and were spacious enough for me. The water is warm if you go between 8 and 10 am. If the door is closed, people can’t see in. The bathroom windows are very high, so it still feels airy and private. The smaller bathrooms might be too small for an overweight or disabled person. I think they could use an extra one for them. NOELLA, LAURA AND VICTORIA and the Mexican lady who cleans were all friendly, helpful, and easy to approach. There’s also a gentle, clean yellow cat you can pet. He meows hello. It’s a bit zen, too.

The customer service was awful. The staff from Argentina in particular were disrespectful and irresponsible toward customers. Be careful not to leave anything behind, because if you do, they steal it and don’t return it. Dishonest people shouldn’t work there.

This little gem is quiet, wicked clean, and close to everything you need. The staff are friendly, and Sarah, the owner, is the sweetest person. I’d highly recommend it.

The beds were clean, and the staff were really nice. It’s on a very quiet street, but still close to the beach.
