Hoteles Berny

We liked it and had no complaints. The location is great and the price was good. We don’t spend much time in our room, but it had what we needed, a decent bed, refrigerator, TV, and a balcony overlooking Juarez St. I think. Breakfast is free and made to order, though it wasn’t very good.

The room and beds were very comfortable, the hotel was clean, and the staff were amazing. Other guests did stay up playing blaring music, though. We don’t mind a little noise, but it was so loud it sounded like the speaker was in our bedroom. Aside from that, it was a great place and we’d definitely stay again.

It’s a basic hotel, but it has what you need. The AC worked well and the WiFi was fast in our room next to the pool, though apparently it’s only available on the ground floor. The location is perfect, with everything in walking distance, and there’s a cheap, delicious Mexican restaurant right across the street. The bathroom was unbelievable for the wrong reason. The shower door wouldn’t close, so every evening the whole bathroom flooded. The bathroom walls really need painting, too, and the breakfast staff could be friendlier.

We enjoyed staying at Hoteles Berny. It was clean, the staff were friendly, and breakfast was included and good. A couple of small inconveniences came up: incidental charges couldn’t be put on a credit card, although paying for the room that way was fine, and they inspected our room at checkout, so we had to wait. Nothing major.
