For 13 years, Puerta Al Mar has been my place to truly relax and recharge on vacation. The views are beautiful whatever the weather.

We've stayed here many times, and it's our favorite place on Isla. Our group is usually pretty diverse, so they call us "hodge podge," which we find funny. The condo is relaxing, comfortable, private, and secure, with nice ocean views and AMAZING sunsets. We love going out on the pier to feed the turtles. A short walk along the beach gets you to Playa Tiburon, an authentic Mexican seaside restaurant where you can have flame grilled fish and a few margaritas. Say hi to Martha for us!

The white sand beaches are nice and calm. Be mindful of the cops on the highway there. They'll pull you over and want a bribe. Don't hand over your DL, hold it and show it to them.
