I had booked eight nights starting March 3, 2026. Two weeks before arriving, I contacted the hotel because I was concerned about cartel violence, including the airport road being closed. They acknowledged my concerns, accepted my room cancellation, and agreed to refund my deposit. The money still hasn't been returned, and they haven't replied to my follow-up messages. Think twice before booking.

Casa Don Francisco was wonderful, and we can't wait to return. Our room was amazing, very clean, and had an incredible view. The grounds were beautiful and well cared for. Breakfast was so good: homemade tortillas, tasty egg dishes, fruit, and fresh green or orange juice. Erica was a pleasure to meet and was always available when we had questions. We also saw Anahi each morning at breakfast. She was super friendly and glad to help.

The views were awesome, the room was outstanding, and breakfast was amazing. Ana and the rest of the staff were friendly, attentive, and ready to help with what we needed. Thank you, Ericka, for a wonderful vacation at Casa Don Francisco. We've been coming to Zihuatanejo for the past three years and have enjoyed Playa La Ropa each time. Staying here was a great experience.

We had a lovely stay, and the hosts were so nice. The location is amazing. There was some street noise, but it didn't affect my sleep. The rooms were very clean, and we had everything we needed between our trips to Tikal. Recommend!

Just off the beach and away from the main roads, this is an amazing place to stay. The host and her team are very friendly and go above and beyond to make your stay memorable.
