Every part of this hotel felt magnificent, from the lobby and front desk to the rooms. The architecture is breathtaking, and the rooms are super clean and comfortable. This was our first stay, and it's probably the only hotel I'd choose on future visits. The issue was room #8: it's small and only has a fan, no air conditioning. That might be fine in fall or winter, but it can get muggy in spring or summer. Fortunately, another room opened up and they moved us.

We had a suite with its bathroom in the room, and were allowed to park our rental car in the gated lot behind the hotel. The check-in staff were helpful, recommending restaurants and sharing local history, which was awesome. It's a small, quaint hotel with excellent service and a great spot near the main plaza, shops, and restaurants. There aren't many rooms. Free WiFi is available, and we'd definitely stay again. Be sure to catch the tamborazos in the plaza a block away!

Alejandra at the front desk was fabulous, and the place is fantastic, well appointed, and within walking distance of everything. A few things to know: the website and Facebook prices are outdated, about double what they show, though the actual rates are still fair. There are only eight rooms total, so book early. Also, the bathrooms have no ceiling insulation, so you can hear everything from the bathroom next door. Closing the door might help but won't fix it. Please leave a suggestion at the front desk; maybe they'll address it if enough people complain.
