The gentleman who checked us in was friendly and helpful. Parking was limited, so we had to leave the car a block away, though the town seemed safe enough. The Wi-Fi was weak, probably because of the cement block walls, and we had connection problems even near the front door where reception was stronger. Still, we were happy with the necessities and a little more: clean, comfortable beds, a hot shower, towels and soap, all for a good price. We also enjoyed the AC and cable TV, where we found a great American X-Men movie in English.

They started construction in a room above us at 9:00am, with terrible chainsaw and banging sounds. When we arrived, the TV wasn't working and there was no soap in the bathroom. Someone knocked at 20:00 hours to fix the TV, which I guess was okay. The hotel itself is nice, but that was our experience.

The price felt high for what you get, especially with limited parking and no inventory of customers' cars. The rooms were acceptable but below standard, the bathrooms were clean, and room service was poor. Wi-Fi was unusable, with a weak and very sporadic signal. Bring your own soap and shampoo, since the soap supplied was generic pink public bathroom liquid. I also found it strange and inconvenient that payment had to be cash only. There weren't many hotels available in late July, and I'm not sure how this place got 3 stars.
