The location made it easy to get around: the beach is a block away, everywhere else is walkable, and if you go too far, the taxi-bus ride back is just 10 pesos. There are lots of places to eat, and the beach has a nice gradual slope. The cinema even shows English movies on Thursday nights. Our room was spacious, with a balcony and a big shower. The bed could’ve been more comfortable, but we slept okay, and it’s good value for the money. The restaurant serves good food. Staff were super helpful, and we became friends with Lupita, who cleaned our room. The pool and hot tub were crowded, but everyone was friendly, and I got to practice my Spanish.

The location is lovely, but I felt it was a bit overpriced for what you get. It could use some remodeling: the sheets were really old, and the bathroom needs a new sink and a few other things.
