Las Maria's is right across the street, and the Mercado is about two blocks away. We could walk to everything, and the halls stayed fairly quiet despite the main streets being only a few blocks off. The price was good, and the staff greeted us warmly and were friendly and helpful whenever we asked for something. The room was a good size for two, with a large closet, vanity, and TV. The shower and toilet were clean, though the bed had no sheets or covers, and the bedspread was stained underneath when I turned it over. We had to leave the hot water running for a while, which we knew to do from having lived in Mexico before. We left mainly because I get claustrophobic and the days were hot. There were no room fans, and the enclosed two-story hotel had poor ventilation in the halls. Room cleanliness was basic, about what you'd expect at a hotel.

The price and location were great, and the gentleman who welcomed me that evening was super friendly. Sleep was another matter. After noon, the place seemed to turn into a bar, with people chatting and laughing and keeping me awake. The hall light stayed on all night, and at 6:45 another woman was on her phone talking about her life. SOMEDAY THEY WILL UNDERSTAND THAT SILENCE IS ESSENTIAL IN A HOTEL!!!

The place is nice and clean, the price is quite affordable, and the location is almost perfect. Service was attentive and really friendly. What bothered me was how easily sound carried. I could hear guests talking in the hallway from the moment I arrived. Once I was in my room, I could also hear the receptionist talking, along with other people, even though they weren't in rooms next to mine.
