The place felt insecure to me, and the design and service were poor overall. The one real plus was how quiet it was when we slept. I feel bad leaving a negative review because we had very few blankets that night, and the receptionist was kind enough to give us hers since she was sleeping there too.

My wife and I had a fantastic time at this truly charming place, even though we visited during the Patron Saint of Monte festivities. It was nothing like the bad reviews we'd read. The hotel was peaceful and quiet, clean, and had internet and hot water. Everything was great, and I recommend it 100%. Fernando Vargas, the Robocop, is grateful for this beautiful place.

The people are very friendly and leave you in peace. They don't pester you, and let you stay as long as you like. The blankets could be cleaner, though, and the toilet tends to clog. It does go down if you flush three times, letting a little water through each time instead of all at once.
