The mineral pools were great, and everyone on staff was so nice and tried to help. We also had massages in a room for two by the lobby. The bedrooms were huge and cute, with two very hard beds in each. The bathroom was tiny, but the shower and everything else worked well. I'm not sure there was A.C., but we didn't need it in January. Most hotels in San Juan Cosala are right on the main road, which is handy but noisy. With the door shut, we slept quite well, and the street noise had died down by 11 pm.

We visited for the first time expecting hot thermal water, but the pool was cold, the jacuzzi only lukewarm, and the temazcal was off. It didn't feel family-friendly, more like a place for adults, so they should make it adults-only. We asked for hot water for the jacuzzi, which should be at 40C, but were told they couldn't heat it then and that we'd have to wait until it was time for heating. They also refused when we asked for hot water, saying it couldn't be warmed up as soon as it cooled. This isn't a hotel with hot thermal water, just a pool and a lukewarm jacuzzi.

The rooms and facilities are all very well kept, and the rock-themed concept is really cool. There's parking and an Oxxo downstairs, and everyone is very friendly. The awkward part was the bar and restaurant schedule. We never managed to get breakfast or order drinks around midday. They let you bring drinks in, but not beer.

I used the pool, jacuzzi and temazcal, and the facilities were very good. The hotel staff gave excellent service. The restaurant was closed, but there is an OXXO just a few steps away.
