The hotel and restaurant by the water make this a lovely spot for weddings, and the lakeside setting at night is something you have to see. We had a group of nine there last night for a Super Bowl LX party, and Michelle, the hotel and event manager, was phenomenal. The tailgate-style buffet included ribs, burgers, hot dogs, plenty of sides, and nonalcoholic drinks. Snacks and different desserts kept coming throughout the game, and there were drink specials on pitchers of Margaritas and buckets of beer. The hotel is on the western shore of Lake Chapala, peaceful and away from the bustle of Ajijic and Chapala. Definitely five stars. Thanks, Michelle, for everything.

We chose this place for our son's wedding and couldn't have been happier. The food, drinks, rooms, and atmosphere were all phenomenal, and the staff did everything they could to make the experience top notch. We fell for the venue the first time we spent time there. It gave us memories we'll carry for life, and brought old friends together while helping us make new ones. Quinta San Carlos is amazing.

We spent a week at Quinta San Carlos with 70 guests, enjoying adventures before our son's wedding. The property manager went above and beyond to make each event feel special, and the staff really cared about making guests happy. With so many different spaces for events, it's a dream for anyone planning one. It's a magical resort in a lovely town on Lake Chapala, with a modern feel and an authentic charm. We loved our time there and can't wait to come back. And the food was delicious!

The venue is gorgeous, and the rooms are beautiful. We're excited for our wedding day and have just booked it here. After seeing lots of places and talking with plenty of people, choosing Diana as our wedding planner made the difference. Someone advised us to think about who we'd be working with over the year as well as the venue, and it feels like we found the right person.

The grounds are well kept, with the bar and restaurant looking out toward Lake Chapala. We stayed for two nights while attending a wedding hosted by Quinta San Carlos. Our room was okay, though a little musty, probably from the humidity. The AC unit helped us cool down at night. On both mornings, around 6 AM, we heard a burst of fireworks from a church down the road. They were extremely loud and lasted about five minutes. It seemed to be some kind of special celebration that weekend, unrelated to the hotel. Hopefully it was an annual event rather than something that happens every weekend.
