Hotel Posada de Roger - Near Los Muertos Beach

Our corner room was quiet despite the busy street outside, and the hotel was close to the beach and other amenities. I liked the welcoming setup, especially the second-floor pool and communal kitchen, and the rooms were nice. The staff were super friendly. I'd stay again!

I've stayed at hotel posada de roger twice and love it. The rooms are clean and bright, and the location, prices, and friendly staff are hard to beat. Jesus is great. I walked everywhere and didn't need to pay for rides. The bakery across the street is amazing, Freddie Toucans next door does a great breakfast, and Coco's Kitchen is only a short walk away and serves delicious food. Around the corner, Margarita PV has table-side guacamole and salsa, plus huge margaritas. I also opened an account at the bank across the street, used the ATM for US$, then exchanged it for pesos at the bank. Best exchange rate around. Truly a hidden gem.

The facilities were just like the pictures and everything was super clean. The AC worked amazingly well, and reception was always kind and helpful. They let us check in early at no extra cost, and the tours we bought through them were amazing and much cheaper than what we found elsewhere. I absolutely loved this hotel and will be back!

The location is great, with shops and dining nearby, lovely greenery, and an excellent bakery opposite the hotel. Breakfast and lunch at the on-site restaurant were good, though they're at a cost. It's a very basic place, with no elevator or laundry, and no coffee or tea in the room, just a communal kitchen. We were first put in a tiny room for three adults where only one person could move around. After asking several times, we got a slightly larger one after two nights. The bathrooms are small and dated. Tap water isn't drinkable, so bring bottled water.
