Nise

The ocean and shoreline views were spectacular, and each night we watched about 10 fireworks go off on boats just before 9 p.m. We stayed for a week and didn't notice or experience any safety concerns in the area, despite having read reviews that suggested it wasn't safe. It's a decent place that will work for plenty of people, and could be much better with a little more effort. Customer service was lacking, as other reviews mentioned. We were told no one could check us in on Sunday because there was no one available, but nobody came or followed up on Monday to explain the place. Someone did call to say the safe needed a new key and it should arrive in two days. We never heard about the key again, so the safe didn't work during our stay.

The photos make this place look nice, but I’d tell people to stay away. It was filthy and felt extremely unsafe. There was broken glass left by the pool after the safety glass had smashed, and the third-floor windows opened wide to let heat out because there was no air conditioning. That felt dangerous. Bins and homeless people were right outside the entrance, and the area stank. Inside, the apartment hadn’t been cleaned: hair in the bathroom, old food and open alcohol in the cupboards, and dirty, worn dish pads covered in old food with no dish soap. The drains were blocked, the shower had almost no pressure, and its handle kept falling off. The sofa beds were broken and unusable, so I had to sleep on an air mattress. The photo shows the broken bed and a urine-stained mattress, and we needed another one. Staff were extremely rude. They offered us a different room, but it was worse, and said I’d have to sleep on a sofa.

The location worked well, with the beach about a 10-15 minute walk away and bars and restaurants nearby. The room itself was lovely, though it could use a few more utensils. What let the stay down was the rude staff and poor customer service. I wouldn’t return or recommend the place for that reason.

It was a quiet, pleasant stay, and I’d definitely come back. The rooms, amenities, and view were all outstanding.
