Villa Armonia Hotel & Spa

We only had one night in the area and wished we could have stayed longer. The rooms were spacious and beautiful, the pool was nice, and the breakfast area was great. Service was wonderful, too. It's a pleasant, beautiful oasis just off the main road. I'd highly recommend it.

The gardens are lovely and the place is clean, but it's really small and there's not much to do. The pool is quite small too. The restaurant is basically just drinks, and breakfast was very simple and didn't taste good. The spa only serves two people at a time. The massage therapist comes from somewhere else, so you need to request a massage in advance.

The first impression was great. The place looked cozy, very clean, and had nicely kept gardens, but things went downhill quickly. We were told on arrival that the reservation price hadn't included taxes, so we ended up paying 30% more than planned. Then we ran into several problems: the A/C didn't work, the main room's digital lock wouldn't close properly, and the shower swung from boiling hot to icy cold within a minute, making it impossible to shower. The Wi-Fi wouldn't connect either, so they shared their corporate Wi-Fi for us to check messages. They provide ear plugs, which makes sense given the location next to the highway and bars along the lake shore. We could hear the partying loud and clear well into the night. The staff were courteous but seemed lost. The receptionist couldn't find our reservation for a while, a cleaning lady opened the door and walked in while we were changing, leaving my wife mortified, and the bartender served us one beer and then disappeared. We can't comment on breakfast. We asked for a refund for our spa massages and left as early as we could the next day. Stay away from this place.

The place is really nice and clean, and the service was good. But the location is awful. It's right next to the highway and incredibly noisy, especially with semis and motorcycles. We couldn't sleep after 5:00 a.m.
