The sunsets were beautiful, and the hotel is in a good location, but we won't be going back to Ixtapa. We had a suite on the 8th floor, and the balcony door wouldn't close all the way. The bed was small, there was no complimentary shampoo or conditioner, gum on the headboard, and a fresh cigarette burn on one of the balcony chairs. Three other rooms with my family had the same issue with their patio doors. The all-inclusive setup was confusing. A lot of things were available around the hotel, so you might think they're included, but then you had to pay. The drinks weren't all included either. Only the cheapest liquor was covered, and it tasted watered down. It took 27 minutes to get a drink at the bar. Shots seemed half water, and the beer mixed drinks were about a quarter beer. You could bring a bigger cup and ask for plain beer to get up to a liter, or get about three watered-down shots. Liquor service closed at 11pm and reopened at 11am each day. I asked at the front desk at 11pm for bottle service and snacks in the room, but they didn't have room service. The three food places included with the package served the same food for three days, breakfast, lunch, and dinner. I wouldn't recommend this hotel to family or friends.

We’re really enjoying our stay, and the buffet has been very good, with lots of choices and different options each day. Cristian Morales at The Main Restaurant was super nice and attentive, and his service went beyond what I expected. Dulce Cristal’s Zumba class was a lot of fun too. The music was great and the pace was really fast, so it was hard to keep up!

The beach is beautiful, right in front of the hotel, and the pools are nice. It’s a very nice place with good service and good food. The facilities could use a little more maintenance.

Olivia and Susana at the front desk were amazing, and the location is great, close to shopping, restaurants, and buses. Our room was clean and spacious, with an amazing view. But that’s where the good parts ended. I’ve never felt so unwelcome or disrespected at a hotel in Mexico. Staff were rude and disrespectful on several occasions, and nobody even tried to speak English. All the signs and food descriptions were in Spanish, so we missed a lot of information. Some dishes were hard to identify because it wasn’t clear what kind of meat they had. The food was awful apart from breakfast, and it was the same every day. If you weren’t in line at the right time for meals or drinks, the waits got really long. I DO NOT RECOMMEND this hotel at all.
