The staff tried to help, but seemed overwhelmed. The room had just one hanger, and a wall light wasn't working. The beds were very firm, and the A/C was loud even though it worked. The hotel feels well past its prime. The bathroom floor flooded during showers, and the toilet backed up and overflowed. They'd painted recently but left the masking tape in place.
We only ate at the restaurant, going back two days in a row, and didn't stay at the hotel. With so few choices in Cardel, most places looked empty, which made us wonder about food freshness and quality. Here, the food was average, just okay, and the prices seemed fair. The service was attentive.
Our room had no towels, and they left us just two bars of soap. There wasn't even a bottle of shampoo. The hotel wasn't good at all.

The location was fine, but the place and the service were disappointing for what I paid, nearly 6,000 for four nights. My room was extremely basic, and on the first day they left a used toilet paper roll, which felt unhygienic. There was no hot water, no phone in the room, and the TV didn't work. I had to call from my cell, and they kept saying things like, "okay, it's the network." I reported the TV issue three days in a row. When someone finally came up on the third day, they confirmed it wasn't working and just told me to switch rooms. The hotel is very outdated and poorly maintained. I paid 5,200 for four nights.
