Agua Blanca

We loved the food here, especially as vegans. The breads were wonderful, soups were incredible, and the black beans, legumes, mushroom and corn taco, and guacamole were all highlights. The grounds are lovely, and the birding was so good: we spotted five endemic species along with lots of others. Our room was spacious and clean, with no bugs, and we didn't need heat or air conditioning. The thermal pools and reasonably priced spa services were great too. Wi-Fi slowed down when lots of people were online but worked well early and late. We appreciated the awnings outside all the rooms when it rained. A few of us had trouble keeping plugs in the wall outlets to charge devices, so some rooms could use outlet updates. We'll be back twice next year. Thanks!

We found plenty to do nearby, and the place was wonderfully relaxing. A real gem tucked away in the Mexican countryside. The sweat lodge felt magical. Such a special experience!

There are mountains, rivers, waterfalls, and 22 hectares of lovely flora and fauna here. The owners and staff are really charming, and the fresh food is prepared honestly every day with local ingredients, including things grown at home. It's a beautiful setting. I'd come back and wouldn't hesitate to invite friends and family.

Terrible administration. I found a black spider in my room, something like a tarantula, and reported it to the maid, but nobody did anything. We had prepaid for both rooms, but my husband didn't know that and was charged again for one of them. We also booked two massages and canceled ahead of time, yet they charged us 50%.
