We had a good stay at Koala Bungalows. The grounds staff did a great job keeping everything tidy, and the dogs that followed us around were no trouble at all. They weren’t after our food. One thing to clarify, since I saw two pools in reviews: the smaller pool belongs to the property, but the bigger one doesn’t. We booked a cabin and a regular room. Both were a little old, and the water wasn’t reliable. We had no water on the morning we left. Still, the rooms were clean and adequate. The young woman who checked us in was polite, professional and efficient. The restaurant was just okay for me. Service was slow, and my coffee arrived only after I’d finished eating. It closes early too, so dinner there isn’t convenient. Next time I’d be more prepared to bring our own food for meals. We rented kayaks and paddleboards, and brought floaties, which I’d definitely recommend. All in all, we had a good experience and will return.
