Villa Santa Maria

The manager was helpful, and it’s lakefront and pet-friendly. But the shower was neglected and unpleasant, the beds were very uncomfortable, and the rooms were noisy. The advertising was misleading. We booked through Booking.com, and the cabin in the photos wasn’t the one we rented, which isn’t shown here either. We had to share the space with another cabin, something the listing never mentioned. It said there was a terrace with a grill but didn’t explain that we couldn’t use it when the other cabin was occupied, because it was reserved for that cabin. We had a terrible time arriving and discovering all this. We contacted the owner days beforehand, but he never clarified any of it and refused to admit his listing was wrong. We wouldn’t return.

A great place for the whole family to unwind and take a break from routine, right at the lagoon.

It’s a paradise, comfortable, beautiful, luxurious, and with excellent services. Our cars couldn’t get any closer because they’d dug a ditch that blocked access to the house from 59 meters away. That was the only minor issue. Everything else comes highly recommended.

A peaceful place to enjoy the lake and its attractions. All the services and facilities are there and well maintained. I’d return when I want some quiet and relaxation.
