City Express by Marriott La Paz

We had paid for a three-room reservation covering three days, but our flight was delayed. We called the hotel to say we’d arrive on the second night. When we got there, the manager said he had canceled the reservation for no valid reason and had not notified us. I asked why, since we had contacted him, and he claimed he had no way to reach us, no phone number or email. That is completely untrue. The manager was terrible, unprofessional, and a liar. This doesn’t feel like a trustworthy hotel when it’s represented by someone dishonest. The reservation was under Maria Rodriguez. We don’t need an investigation at this point. We’d never had such a terrible booking experience, especially as a large group, and I want people to know with spring break coming.

A practical, basic place to stop along the way. The complimentary breakfast was pretty good, and the staff were really friendly.

The rooms are simple but clean, and they work well for a quick stop. Great staff, too.

I stayed at the hotel during my most recent work transfer. The service was good.
