The water pressure and temperature in the bathroom were great, and we didn’t have any problems. Diana at the front desk was very nice and helped us with everything during our stay. I really enjoyed the quiet neighborhood. The hotel was charming, with an easy walk to the malecón, restaurants, and coffee shops.

I’ve stayed at The "Bug" three or four times over the past 15 years, and I haven’t really noticed any decline in quality. It’ll probably keep being my place to stay in La Paz. It’s an old-school "fancy" Mexican hotel, but still quite comfortable. The staff are very helpful, the rooms are clean, and the water is hot. The outdoor pool is there, and the hotel is within walking distance of the Malecon and the main Plaza in old town La Paz. Parking is enclosed and private, though I don’t believe it’s locked at night.

A quaint, quiet hotel with a pool and hot tub, and a nice walk to the malecon. The staff were very pleasant. It has a fridge, TV, air conditioning, and... safe.

The courtyard pool was a nice spot to enjoy, and the rooms were spacious with big, modern bathrooms. We’ve stayed twice and thought the hotel was excellent for the price. It has a cute design, secure parking, and sits in a cute neighborhood close to the malecon. The shower water didn’t get as hot as I’d like, though that’s a fairly low priority for me. The restaurant didn’t open until 8am, so we went elsewhere for coffee. There are several good places nearby.
