The water smelled strongly like urine and looked dirty, so the pool was completely uninviting. It was also crowded with people openly drinking and behaving inappropriately, which made the area feel unpleasant and unsafe for families. This falls well below what I'd expect from a hotel in this category. Management needs to address the hygiene and guest behavior problems immediately.

It's okay as a place to rest. Breakfast comes with the room, the rooms are clean, and the staff are kind. The elevator is the nightmare, though. Remodeling has been going on since February 2025, and one elevator has to serve all 10 floors.

We've stayed here for years on the way to our family's home in Mexico, and this year our luggage was stolen. A security guard outside, named Juan, said he'd watch our belongings because we always travel with a lot. This has never happened in all those years, so it made us suspect that the “guard” did it. The hotel should do a better job hiring trustworthy employees. When we told other staff, they basically shrugged and said there was nothing they could do because they didn't have “access” to the cameras. Be careful if you're planning to stay.

The people working there tried to be accommodating, which was the saving grace of my stay. The rooms are very old, with an overpowering cleaning detergent smell. There were water stains on the bathroom door and peeling wallpaper. They had an ice maker but no buckets or cups for using it. Parking was okay, but otherwise I didn't enjoy the stay much. I don't know how this hotel can carry the brand name.
