We called and arrived without a deposit, and everything went smoothly. It was a fine hotel, felt safe, and was literally in front of the beach. Our upstairs room was huge compared with many hotel rooms I’ve stayed in around Mexico, and it was the cheapest option, with one bed. That bed was seriously hard, like sleeping on concrete, but we’ll definitely be back.

Right on the malicon, this old-fashioned hotel has a great feel. The bathroom is a nice size, and if Chinese food is your thing, you can eat right here. The staff are always polite and helpful. The manager really knows how to look after guests. For the quality, the price is good, and it’s an incredible deal.

We’d been looking at this spot on the malecon for a couple of years, then finally gave it a try. Glad we did. The decor made us feel like we were in China town, and good Chinese food is hard to find in La Paz. We ordered the family meal for two and got so much food that it covered two meals. We’ll be back.

The chop Suey had bean sprouts instead of noodles, and the food arrived less than five minutes after we ordered, which already felt concerning. Then I got food poisoning. Avoid this place at all costs.
