Seven Crown La Paz Centro Histórico

The hotel’s location is hard to beat, and service was great everywhere except the restaurant that handles breakfast. Its service was terrible, so I’d stay here again but eat breakfast somewhere else to avoid spoiling the visit. Booking tours through the hotel was convenient, and they had the best price.

The room’s A/C worked great, and the hotel courtyard has a fairly secure parking lot. My van fit through the entrance, but a high top Sprinter van won’t. It’s well placed near the cathedral and several very good restaurants and cafes. The shower pressure was quite low. There was a drip coffee maker in the room, but no filters or coffee, just the machine.

The complimentary breakfast was a nice touch, though the included menu was limited and we ended up ordering from the main one. At the front desk, the staff were pleasant and helpful, and the lobby looked nice. In our room, the coffee maker came without coffee or cups, and although two bottles of water were provided, the water pressure was extremely low in the sink, shower, and toilet. The rooms need updating and could be cleaner, with brighter lighting. We were surprised that the street level room was fairly quiet, but the walls were thin: we could hear people in other rooms slamming doors and shouting down the hall, and footsteps overhead at night.

The pool was super clean, and our room was clean too. I had a great time at the bar, where the bartender was the best. The staff were so nice and the customer service was great all around. Everything was great, and I want to thank Alberto and Luis the bartender. I’ll definitely come back and share the experience with friends and family ☺️☺️
