It's a decent spot close to several lakes, and Julio knows about tours. He's also very attentive. The cabins are right by the road, which takes away from the scenery a bit. There's a small shop and a restaurant next door.

Get there in the late afternoon, before it gets dark, so you can spend the whole next day visiting the lakes at an easy pace. I'd also take the local guides' help to get the most out of the visit. The cabins are simple but have what you need. The people are friendly and explain how to find the place so you don't get lost. Cell service disappears about 15 minutes after you arrive, so keep in touch with the other guests.

The owners look after guests themselves, and I recommend staying here. It's very comfortable and feels safe, with clean rooms, hot and cold water, and a TV. You have nothing to lose.

It's really cold there, and there's hardly any hot water.
