Zegen Hoteles

Breakfast had lots of delicious choices, and we left with wonderful memories and a wish to come back. We stayed at Hotel Zegen in Lagos de Moreno and attended a wedding there this past weekend. The staff handled all the details smoothly and created a beautiful setting for the celebration. Nora, the general manager, was especially attentive. She went out of her way to meet our needs and offered personal recommendations and help throughout our stay. Her care for guests made a real difference. The hotel is beautifully maintained, the rooms are comfortable, and the welcome from the moment we arrived was warm. I'd highly recommend Hotel Zegen for a comfortable stay and outstanding service. Thanks to Nora and her team for a fantastic visit.

The rooms are very clean, parking is free, and the food is delicious despite the extra breakfast charge. I recommend ordering quesadillas and choosing whatever filling you like. But be careful with breakfast when booking: I paid through Booking.com for a rate with breakfast included, then was charged separately. The app didn't show breakfast as included either, so whichever platform you use, check what you're buying. If you're driving around town, watch the traffic lights too. The turn arrow goes green before the light for going straight.

The lobby, bar, and facilities were things I really liked. Still, there seemed to be no one keeping order. Other rooms and the hallways were noisy, and I never saw anyone step in. The hotel is by a lake, which isn't a major problem, though there are better located options.

It's far better than the other hotels around here, including City Express, Hotel Victoria, and Hotel Lagos Inn. I highly recommend it!
