The people in the village were so welcoming and happy to help. After hiking over from Benito Juarez, we loved settling into a clean, cosy cabaña with a fire already lit for us that night. The valley views were beautiful. Muchas gracias!

The trails nearby were wonderful, with rivers, waterfalls, forests, and amazing viewpoints. Our chalet was nice and had a fireplace, which must be especially welcome in winter. We didn't get hot water, though it may have been a problem just with our room since the others seemed fine.

It's a small town, but there's something magical about it, and the views are really nice. The cabins are okay, and they'll provide a chimene if you want one. Just show up and they'll explain everything.

Centro ecoturistica did a great job putting together a package for my three nights in the Sierra Juarez and fitting it to what I needed. Latuvi is in the Sierra Juare, in Oaxaca, MX. 😊
