City Express By Marriott Ciudad De México La Villa

The grocery store across the street was perfect for picking up snacks and drinks. The hotel was incredibly clean, with spacious, very comfortable rooms and all the amenities. There’s a business center, and breakfast was pretty decent. Frida, Karen and Hugo went out of their way to make sure we had a great stay. For a budget hotel, it was amazing. I’d stay again, 1000%.

We were visiting the Basilica of Guadalupe, and the hotel was about a 20-minute walk away. The area felt very safe, and a big supermarket that sells almost everything was just five minutes on foot. Downtown was a 10-15-minute Uber ride. Breakfast buffet was good, too. The staff were friendly and efficient throughout our wonderful stay. The kitchen team were especially kind. Alejandro, if I remember the name right, was so nice and hardworking, always helping people and keeping the tables clean and ready for the next guests. The cleaning staff were helpful and nice as well. I highly recommend this hotel.

It’s a clean, safe, comfortable hotel in a non-touristy area. If you’re looking to be near the Basilica de Guadalupe, the airport or the “del norte” bus terminal, the location works well. There’s a supermarket right across the street and plenty of affordable restaurants within walking distance. Misterios metro station is about a 10-15-minute walk away. They served scrambled eggs at breakfast, and, amazingly, the A/C worked. I’d definitely stay again.

There’s a free shuttle to the Basilica, and they’ll store your luggage at no charge if your flight is later. The hotel is also close to the airport. Our room was quiet, and we rested well. Housekeeping cleaned it and changed the towels every day, and topped up the toiletries without us asking. The lounge, dining area and hallways were all very clean, the floors were constantly being cleaned, and the hallway smelled nice. Breakfast had a good variety of food and drinks, and the staff there were kind and gave excellent service. The staff throughout the hotel were wonderful, especially Ricardo, who was polite and helped us with what we needed. It was a lovely experience, and we’d definitely stay again.
