The breakfast staff kept everything fresh and were very attentive, and the rest of the staff were thoughtful, helpful, and understanding. The hotel is extremely well kept. It’s easy to judge a stay on basics like cleanliness, breakfast, showers, space, and nearby attractions, and this place earned my five-star review.

The location is fine, but the service we got as a group was so poor that I’d never stay here again. We’d left our bags in the room for lunch, then traffic delayed us on the way back. We called the front desk to say we’d be about 10 minutes late checking out. Management refused to give us any extra time, kept our bags, and made us pay $300 USD for another night.

We had a roomy two-bedroom suite and found it easy to get around on foot. We walked to Polanco, Reforma, La Roma, and several other neighborhoods. The area felt very safe, with a convenience store across the street and lots of restaurants on the same road. It was also central to the tourist attractions we wanted to see. The hotel was really comfortable, and the free breakfast each morning and self-serve laundry area came in handy. Uber is super affordable in Mexico City if you’d rather ride. We’d happily stay here again. Room 11 looked nice at first, and I’d chosen this hotel because it had self-serve laundry. Then I checked the bed. It was disgusting, with someone else’s bodily fluids, nails, dead skin, hair, and pubic hair. When I complained, the front desk offered new pillows, not clean sheets. I went back and asked for a different room. Room 23 was dirty too. Room 51 was okay, but getting there took a lot of back and forth after a long travel day. Once I checked out, I went to the Four Points by Sheraton, 15 minutes away. The sheets were clean there, which surprised me since the prices are similar. I don’t know how this place is considered a four-star hotel. Dirtiest hotel I’ve ever been in.
