A basic gym, but I appreciated having it at this hotel class and price. The AC worked well, and the blackout blinds were great. We could sleep in, although the walls seemed thin enough that loud people in the hallway carried into the rooms. At least they were polite and kept the noise down to daylight hours. The staff were nice. From what I’ve read in other reviews, speaking Spanish helps, though I imagine they’d do their best if you don’t. This is a solid place if you need to stay in this corner of CDMX, where the main local attraction is a big hospital. It isn’t a touristy area.

The rooms were decent, but after a week here for the location, I don’t think we’ll return. Only the lady serving in the restaurant and the shuttle guy were really friendly. The rest of the staff need to improve their customer service. They weren’t welcoming, acted like they didn’t have time to help, and weren’t friendly. The kitchen lady making food always seemed in a bad mood and had an attitude, and the girl at the front desk wasn’t friendly. The guy on the graveyard shift was really nice, though. Next time I’d rather pay for a more luxurious hotel and commute, hoping the service is better.

The rooms were okay, but the gym is tiny and you have to use a vending machine for sundries. There’s only one coffee machine at breakfast, so the line gets huge, and the breakfast service is terrible. The elevator card setup isn’t great either. I wasn’t very impressed, especially for a Marriott and with Gold status. If you don’t speak Spanish, avoid this hotel.
