Hotel Zirahuen

It was close to downtown and pretty much anywhere else in town, with plenty of transportation outside. But during my stay on August 1-2, the hotel was old and run-down, more like an hourly motel. I had to buy toilet paper after asking the front desk more than three times. Wi-Fi only worked around the lobby, not in the rooms, even though we had four phones and a tablet. The hotel had been turned into what they called a police base, with officers staying six months or more. In the morning, all the running and noise from their drills woke us. There was no parking left for guests because the police vehicles took up the spaces, so the few guests had to park on the street.

It was okay, but the booking site said the place was dog-friendly. After checking in, I got grief about it. It eventually worked out, but after two hours of ??? I wasn't happy.

The swimming pool was nice, but the rooms are too small and the place is too noisy.

It's a small hotel.
