The staff were unfriendly, and there are better, cheaper places to stay in León, which is a small city. The location itself is good. There’s no drinking water supplied, so guests are told to buy some at a nearby shop. The room curtains give privacy, but there are no blackout or double curtains, so little daylight gets in, and opening them means people outside can see into the room. The valet setup was another problem. They don’t take standard manual cars, but that wasn’t mentioned beforehand. They just left my car outside without explaining why.

The building and rooms looked lovely, modern, and clean, but the noise nearby made sleeping difficult, especially on weekends when the nightlife was busy. I also had trouble getting my car when I needed to leave early. I asked for it at 8 AM and the front desk said no because the person handling the cars was “sleeping.” I talked with the staff for a while and eventually got it, but what kind of hotel refuses to give you your car because someone is asleep?

I was there for a work event, and every night people on motorcycles were revving their engines and making a horrible racket. Authorities should keep an eye on this if they want to promote tourism.

The hotel itself is lovely, but the setting is awful. Being right on a street lined with bars and nightclubs makes for a really unpleasant stay, with all the noise. They also don't follow the parking rules, since they won't take manual cars, and this isn't disclosed before you book. A quiet, relaxing weekend just isn't possible here. There wasn't any hot water either.
