For about $35 US, you get the basics: a bed, shower, and toilet. The mattress sits on what feels like a concrete bed, and there's really no extra comfort or frills. It might suit someone watching every dollar, but next time I plan to pay a bit more.

The mornings were really noisy. At about 5 a.m., someone was running a blender just beyond our wall. Also, the hotel doesn't take dollars; they convert using the app's rate and charge you in pesos.

A gas station is right there, along with internet and hot and cold water. This is a roadside hotel, so fill your tank before setting off, since there's nowhere to do so until La Paz.
