A sweet, romantic little place, very clean and welcoming. It's a couple of blocks from Mission square, and a few blocks the other way to the waterfront Loreto sign. The bedding and towels were soft, white, and fluffy, and the staff were warm and helpful. Breakfast is included, and the pristine pool was comfortable and relaxing. The property is well kept and has a soothing feel. There are good Mexican restaurants next door, plus plenty of choices at the square and waterfront. We were very pleased.

The pool was a joke, so don't come expecting to swim. After the rooms were cleaned, the bleach smell was so strong I couldn't sit in my room for hours. They charged me $20 for a stained hand towel, which was absurd. I feel disappointed by the hotel's greed and would never return. Hayde, the manager, treated tourists like dollar signs. I'd suggest La Mission or Hotel Oasis instead, where the service is much better and you don't get scammed at every opportunity. Shame on you, Hayde.

I've stayed at Paraiso Azul twice, and it ranks among my favorite hotels from travels around Latin America and Europe. On my first visit in October 2022, my wife and I had an upper-floor mini suite with a street view and kitchenette. This time I had an upper-floor single overlooking the pool. Both rooms were immaculate, nicely decorated, and cooled by AC and ceiling fans. The hotel felt very safe and secure. I slept with the sliding patio door open and had no reason to worry about an intruder. Breakfast is a highlight: hot, cooked to order, and included in the room rate, with coffee, juice, fresh fruit, bread, tortillas, frijoles, eggs, and more. They serve it poolside with tables where you can enjoy your Baja breakfast outdoors. Staff keep the attractive rooms and common areas in excellent shape, with everything working, and they're friendly, attentive, and ready to help. There's a pool and patio for cooling off or reading, plus a rooftop palapa and patio where you can catch a sea breeze under the thatched roof and look out at the sea, mountains, and neighborhood. The location makes it easy to walk to the central plaza, Mision de Nuestra Senora de Loreto, and the waterfront, where you can boat, fish, kayak, snorkel, swim, relax on clean beaches, or stroll along the Malecon. Nearby casual restaurants include Orlando's, Baja Haay, and Cafe Roma, all with great food, service, and setting. It's an outstanding place to stay in Loreto.

We had a really relaxing stay, and the location was good too.

The staff made our stay especially nice, always kind and attentive. We were there for a little over a week, and the clean, comfortable room and easy access to the malecón, plaza, and plenty of restaurants suited us perfectly. We felt safe and would happily stay here again.
