Hotel La Jolla Los Mochis

A quiet place.

The staff were very friendly, and the outdoor parking felt peaceful. It's good value for the money and sits in a quiet area, though the street layout can be confusing if you don't know the neighborhood. The hotel is clean and quiet enough to rest, but there are clear drawbacks: the shower has no hot water, while the sink has no cold water. That means showering in cold water and washing your hands or brushing your teeth with boiling water. The sheets smelled bad and gave the impression of poor hygiene.

The location is very central, and the rooms are clean and air-conditioned. But after a nine-hour trip, I just wanted to rest, and the ground-floor rooms along the hallway were much too bright, with curtains that were too thin. There's no enclosed parking either, so you have to leave your vehicle on the street.

A quiet, budget hotel with the basics covered. The location works well for me, and there's outdoor parking. The staff were friendly and good. The bathroom was very small, and the shower made an annoying noise when turned on. It could also use an elevator.
