The room itself was mostly fine, breakfast was fine, and the breakfast attendant was pleasant. But the AC barely worked, the room hadn't been cleaned properly, and the staff made me feel like my stay was an inconvenience. I left after one night instead of the two or more I had planned. Having worked in hotel hospitality, I was shocked by such a cold and unsanitary welcome and glad to leave. I arrived an hour and a half before check-in to drop my bags. The hotel was mostly empty, but staff didn't offer a place for them and seemed inconvenienced by the request. At check-in, the front desk and security pointed me in the wrong direction to find my room. They watched me wander around outside, then giggled at my confusion when I came back to ask. The rooms were clearly to the left, but they'd said and pointed straight ahead. Instead of apologizing for unclear directions, they laughed at me. It felt like they were pleased to see a newly arrived guest lost. When I finally reached the room, I found urine stains and brown marks on the toilet and bathroom counter. The toilet clearly hadn't been cleaned, so I had to deal with the previous guest's mess myself. The hotel also isn't near much. Avoid it unless you have no choice. The staff's attitude was basically, why is this paying customer here? Apart from the breakfast attendant, I didn't feel welcome at all. Try somewhere else, and staff should at least make an effort to help.

Really good hotel for a low price, and there were no hidden fees. The rooms were very clean, the staff friendly, and the elevators fast. Breakfast was included and had plenty. We were a big group and all really liked our stay at hotel MX ❤️

The room was unbearably hot because the AC was broken, and we couldn't sleep at all. At 1 a.m. we called reception to ask if someone could fix it. They sent a security guard who had no idea what to do, then left us waiting for an hour until I got up and walked to reception to find out what was happening. The customer service was appalling. We definitely won't be back. I hardly ever leave a negative review, but after our stay last night, 10 Aug 2024, I felt I had to warn people.

My boyfriend and I spent five days here and really didn't want to leave. The room was huge and so clean, and everything felt new and immaculate: the pool, gym, jogging track, and big open terrace. Breakfast was included and had eggs, beans, salsa, chips, milk, cereal, plus coffee and tea available 24/7. I miss it already and can't wait to go back. I hope this place stays a secret because it's my favorite hotel ever, a five-star experience.

Everyone was nice, and the hotel was spotlessly clean and well maintained. The common areas were in top condition. There's a mall about a seven-minute walk away, though there are no sidewalks, so be prepared. It's supposedly a three-star hotel, but it felt easily like four stars. I'd consider staying here again.
