The town views were good, and it’s about 10-15 minutes from the church, but I didn’t think the place was worth the price. Parking costs extra. The house we stayed in had a room that got far too hot, and the fan started shaking like crazy when we tried it, so we were afraid to run it at full speed. In one room, the curtain wouldn’t close completely, and the light coming in at night kept me awake. I had to put a pillow in the window. The person in charge was never around, and they only give you ONE KEY. If someone goes out late while you stay in, you have to wait for them to return. The decorations were the worst part: they looked like they’d all come from a flea market, and the style didn’t feel Mexican at all. I think it’s aimed at tourists.

The city view was good, but this place wasn’t worth the price. The accommodations felt a bit worn and need updating. At 7:00am, the groundskeeper whistles music outside your window while working, and the owners’ kids ride dirt bikes around the property in the mornings.

The views are magical, and there’s a real sense of peace here. I’ve stayed twice, and both visits were wonderful. The staff and owners are welcoming and helpful, and every villa has its own character. It’s a bit of a walk to the center plaza, but a taxi gets you there in no time. I’ll have to come back someday.

The service was bad, there was no hot water, and it’s not close to downtown. I can’t understand how they offer this kind of accommodation. Avoid it.
