I was there from Thursday until Monday, and I only wish I could have stayed longer. Everyone I dealt with was patient, kind, and willing to help, even though Spanish isn't my main language. That was true at the front desk, in the kitchen and restaurant, and with housekeeping.

We knew there'd be no coffee maker, microwave, or fridge in the room, but were caught off guard that it had no soap or shampoo. We were glad we'd packed our own. Breakfast wasn't much for us: the cereal had no taste, the papaya was inedible and bland, and the green juice was awful. The cappuccino from the machine was mostly milk and undrinkable, so we stuck to cereal and fruit as the healthy option. Still, it worked fine for a one-night stay. The hotel is in a nice neighborhood, check-in and checkout were efficient and friendly, and our clean room had a comfortable bed and good Wi-Fi.

The walls are thin enough that you can hear your neighbors very clearly, and if breakfast is part of your room purchase, remember to ask for a meal ticket when you check in. The hotel is modern and was one year old. Its cheerful rooms have modern decor, soft beds, flat-screen TVs, air-conditioning, warm showers, and great city views. It's in the city center.
