Hotel San Jose

I had to stay that night because it was too cold and late to look for another hotel. In the morning, I canceled the room and my vacation and left. Not a great way to do business. My brother-in-law, my sister, and I had booked rooms 25 and 26 two weeks ahead for four nights, from Thursday the 15th to Sunday the 18th. We arrived the afternoon of the 15th, left our luggage, and went to a family reunion. When we got back around 11 p.m., two big trucks were in our reserved space. When we complained, they said we could park somewhere else. I asked why they hadn't put the trucks in one of the other lots, since we'd reserved ours in advance. The young woman said they didn't want to bother the other guests, even though the other rooms were empty. They told us we could move to another room on a cold, rainy night.

The beds were good, the blankets comfy, and the TV was nice. There was also a good sofa bed, with its pillows and blankets provided in the room. The rooms themselves were good, and the restaurant food was good, though it took a while to reach the table. I never got the Wi-Fi password, maybe you have to ask at the front desk. I rated it three stars because the walls are really thin, and we could hear the people next door. It's a nice hotel, but noise depends on who's there that night. Fine for a day, less good if you're hoping to get proper rest.

The location is nice, but the heater in the Junior suite didn't work. I was very disappointed and had to leave the hot water running overnight to keep the kids warm. We won't be coming back to this hotel.

The room was nice, clean, and reasonably priced, and everyone was very friendly. We'll definitely come back in the future.
