My stay at DoubleTree left me disappointed. The floors, carpet, and walls had several cleanliness problems, and I saw cockroaches climbing on the tables while I was working. There were also lots of plastic particles around the hotel sink. I hope the feedback helps them improve.

The hotel is small, but it had everything I needed, and I chose it because the brand has a strong reputation. I also had dinner at Oaks; the restaurant. The food was really good, and the place was clean and pleasant. Javier the server and Antonia were especially hospitable and gave excellent service. They’re a real plus for the hotel.

Friendly service and a good location, but the place is tiny. The rooms feel small compared with a typical Doubletree, and the bar may be the smallest in the world. There’s one painfully slow elevator that only fits two people. Who designed this?

I booked a King Bed Junior Suite directly on the website, but they put me in a lower-category room and charged the full original price. When I raised it, the staff acted like I was begging for a refund instead of recognizing their mistake. Charging for the room they actually gave me seems like common sense. I had to explain the situation to four different front desk employees, and none seemed to know what to do. Very poor service. Check your reservation carefully if you stay here.

The room was nice, the beds comfortable, and the staff helpful and accommodating. Still, I left with mixed feelings. I booked because the website said there was an airport shuttle, but when I tried to arrange a ride, I was told they couldn’t provide it because they were short-staffed. If the service isn’t available, it shouldn’t be listed in the description. Very disappointing.
