Friendly, helpful staff and a good selection make this store the main option in town. But prices on most things are more than double, and some are three times that or higher. With the next alternative 100kms away, it feels like they take advantage of their location. Your pesos disappear fast. Pay cash if you can, since using a card adds a big extra charge.

The rooms were clean, but smelled musty. Being above a building materials warehouse made it noisy, and staff shouted along the hall from early in the morning. Our first room had no water; after they moved us, the new room had water but no hot water. It's much too expensive for what you get, and I wouldn't recommend it.

It's right at the entrance to the area, but feels pricey next to the hotel zone, where places are more affordable and in better shape.

The refrigerator was full of moldy food and smelled terrible, there were cockroaches, and the AC was so loud it made sleeping difficult. They don't change the blankets, and cleaning happens whenever they feel like it. The place is very dirty, and the staff who are meant to help guests are rude and don't know how to treat customers. You can say hello or thank them and get a mumbled "if you're lucky" in reply. They need some lessons in manners. Disgusting.
