It felt too expensive for what it was, and I wouldn’t recommend it. The hotel was clean and centrally located, but it wasn’t on the beach. When we visited at the end of February, it was almost empty, with only one other woman staying there among about 30 rooms. We were just the two customers in the hotel. At 11:00, with official checkout at 12:00, I politely asked the girl if we could leave our luggage in the room while we had lunch and return by 12:30 at the latest. She said it would cost 100 pesos extra for an hour. The shower wasn’t properly hot either. There was only some warm water, and it lasted about three minutes.

I arrived sick, and they let me check in hours early, which was really nice of the staff. The rooms were pleasant, and there’s a rooftop view over town. The beach, along with pretty much everything else, is within a block or two. There’s a nice central courtyard to hang out in, plus a hot shower, cold air conditioning, and fast internet. Great place, and the staff were very nice.

The rate was $900 pesos a night. Lots of fishermen stay here while passing through for tours. It’s very central, right next to the bus station.

At 800 pesos a night, the price was reasonable. The hotel was clean and affordable, and everything else was fine. They didn’t make the bed or change our towels after we left the room, but it wasn’t a big deal since we were only there for a few days.
