Noah Beach Hotel & Suites

The restaurant food was good, though much too expensive, and the cleaning staff were kind. Reception, on the other hand, came across as indifferent and unwelcoming. The hotel looks nice, but it feels basic and cheaply built, with thin walls where you can hear other guests and a structure that doesn’t seem sturdy. Our balcony was mostly hidden behind palm trees, and a sulfur smell from rotting seaweed made sitting outside unpleasant. In the room, the balcony doors wouldn’t lock, the toilet cover wouldn’t stay up, and the shower leaked. Beach club access was limited to chairs and swimming, but the water was murky with algae and dead fish. Vendors outside were very persistent, and I was surprised to find private businesses had taken over parts of the beach. When we snorkeled, we saw only a few fish and gray coral, nothing like years ago, when turtles and jellyfish were common. Overpriced and underwhelming.

The condos were brand new and beautiful, next to the Noah and owned by Noah. Oswaldo, the manager, was attentive and amazing with everything we needed. Definitely ask for him if you want A+ service.

We drove here for the first time without knowing what to expect, and it turned out to be such a beautiful place. Oswaldo, thanks for making us feel so welcome. We highly recommend it and will definitely come back in the future.

The long trip and drive need planning since this is a remote place, but my stay was one of the best I’ve had in Quintana Roo. I was surprised by what I found, in the best way. I usually travel solo, though the place can also fit a big group or family trip. Around this time, July 22, 2025, seaweed washed ashore and made the ocean look dirty, so the beach wasn’t enjoyable. The community cleaned up a little and put in a netted gate to create a pool-sized swimming area for guests. I’d recommend the place.
