The beach was the one bright spot. Our room was run down, needed repairs and updating, and didn’t look like the online presentation. There was no water or coffee in the room. The towels were old, stained, and had holes, and the sliding door was very hard to open. The rooftop didn’t have the lovely pool shown, just a small plunge pool like a hot tub.

The beach area was awful, and we won’t take another beach excursion on the island. It was run down, and we couldn’t relax because people kept trying to sell us junk. Even after we asked them to stop, they kept at it.

The staff, especially at the front desk, made a difference to our experience. The rooms, though, looked old and hadn’t been cared for, and some of the furniture was broken. I expected more for the price.

The rooms are spacious, and breakfast and the food are good for the price. The shower pressure could be stronger. The pizza definitely wasn’t my style.

We had a great time enjoying the water and lovely beach. The staff were kind and friendly, and the waiters kept our drinks filled before they were empty. They were also working to keep the beach clean while dealing with seaweed brought in by the storms. Kudos...
